People tend to attach great importance to the exterior
side of doors while the interior, facing towards the
room, often receives no special attention.
People often tend to place or hang items on doors.
Whether this is because

they don't want to forget something on their way
out or because they simply want to find a temporary
place for something, the door frequently ends up
serving as a sort of impromptu hanger. This project
offers the opportunity to integrate this informal

function with the door in an organized manner and
with a new "texture" on the backside of the door.
It seeks to convey an informal feeling while
introducing additional function and usefulness
into the environment.
